About the farm
Below Mount Peca right on the Slovene-Austrian border beside the Reht border crossing stands the Reht tourist farm.
The view opens to Mount Uršlja gora, Pliberško polje, and Austrian ski centers. You will recognize the farm by the venerable linden tree just beside the house, which in summer offers pleasant coolness and shade.
Rye or white bread, fresh cottage cheese, buckwheat žganci with veal stew, bula with sour cabbage, buckwheat, cottage cheese, walnut, or kločevi štruklji, roast suckling pig—these are but a few of the goodies put on the table along with various brandies and juices.
The Tourist Mežica mine, the Najevska linden, the birth house of the Slovene writer Prežihov Voranc, and the ironworking museum in Ravne are only a few suggestions from the many points of interest the area offers.
